Organisations

An organisation represents either your own pentesting team or a client company. Organisations are used throughout the platform to link projects to clients and to identify the service provider performing the assessment.

Information from organisations, such as name and contact details, is included in the penetration test reports generated by the system.

Managing Organisations

You can manage all organisations by navigating to Settings > Organisations in the dashboard.

Types of Organisations

Reconmap distinguishes between two main types of organisations:

• Service Provider: This represents your own team or company that performs the security assessments.
• Client: This represents the customer or target organisation for whom the assessment is being conducted.

Creating and Updating

When creating or updating an organisation, you can provide:

• Name: The full name of the company or team.
• Kind: Whether it's a client or a service provider.
• Address: The physical or mailing address.
• URL: The company's website.
• Contacts: One or more contact persons associated with the organisation.

To edit an organisation, click on its name in the list and then use the Edit button on the details page.
